Epson is an established brand in the printing space. Earlier in the day, they had introduced the iPrint app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad, and now they've introduced, the iPrint 2.0, boasting of better features.
With more features and functionalities
While users could print photos and web pages earlier, version 2.0 adds to that by letting iOS devices print Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF documents. Epson also says that users can scan, save and share these files. iPrint 2.0 can also access online cloud-based services like Box.net, Dropbox, Evernote and Google Docs. The app also has an in-built web browser that lets users find and print web pages. The app has a number of configuration options to choose from like scanning resolutions, image types, paper size and type, number of copies and other regular settings for printing and scanning.
